All supplies can be found at the Bead Trunk

Supply List:

Scotch tape
1 foot of 21 strand Soft Flex Cable
2 tube crimps
2 Crimp covers
6 small oval jump rings
2 medium oval jump rings
2 diamond shaped 4- hole connectors
1 toggle clasp
10” link chain
5 small faceted drop (top drilled) glass beads
4 flat rectangle or square puff stone beads
10 plain disc spacers 4-mm in size
10 daisy spacers 3-mm in size

1 crimping plier
1 or 2 pairs of chain nose pliers

1 wire cutter (for cutting cable)

Step 1  Pictures 1 & 2

Take 1 foot of Soft Flex Cable and fold a short piece of scotch tape or even painters tape over one end; you are creating an easy to remove “Bead Stopper” on to your cable.

Now simply string on the beads either in the pattern shown or in your own favorite way.  Beads in this bracelet strung up measure to 4”.

Step 2  Pictures   3-7  “Crimping”

Now you will attach a “Diamond Shaped 4 Strand Connector”  The cable needs to be attached to the middle ring.  One the one side of cable that does not have tape, string on 1 crimp bead and give yourself 1.5” of a tail.  String the cable tail through the bottom loop of the connector and then back through the crimp bead, (pic. 3)  Push the crimp so it is just below the loop of the connector, you want the connector to move freely.  Using crimping pliers, place the second notch of the tool (looks like the shape of a  kidney bean when the tool is closed) over the crimp bead, make sure the crimp bead is in the tool completely and is sitting in the notch, not on any flat surface of the tool.  Give the tool a good squeeze and check your crimp bead, if there is a dent in the center (pic 5) then you crimped it correctly.  Now place the crimp bead on it’s side into the front notch of the tool and gently squeeze the crimping pliers.  This is folding the crimp bead in half.  (pic 6)  Repeat these steps on the other side connecting the other 4 strand connector(pic 7)  Be sure there are no gaps in your strung bracelet and make sure to crimp this bracelet while it is laying in semi circle, this will make sure there is enough space in between the beads creating a nice drape when worn around your wrist.

Step 3 pictures 8 & 9

Using the small oval jump rings and chain nose pliers ( I like to use 2 pairs)  Open the jump rings to the side (never pulling outward!)  Place one small jump ring on the out side loop of the connector and attach a length of chain; the chain should be just slightly longer then 4” do this on both sides of the strung bracelet and attach connectors to each end.  (Pic. 8 & 9)

Step 4 “Crimp Covers” Pictures 10 & 11

This step is optional, but it is a nice finish to a necklace or bracelet.  Use the crimp pliers and gently place and hold the open crimp cover in the front “round” notch of the crimp tool.    Using the crimping pliers, place the crimp cover over the finished crimp bead (pic. 10) gently close the cover over the crimp bead.  See picture 11.

Step 5

Using the medium oval jump rings and chain nose pliers open both rings to the side and place on to the 4 strand connectors; You can use 1” of chain or less (depending on the length you need) on each end of the bracelet then attach the toggle clasp to the chain using the last of the small oval jump rings.
